We’ve developed a Mini-Hook X100W with Banana Socket in Plunger test adapter. Part 8036 accepts standard banana socket.
Colors: Body available in 10 standard colors. Red plungers are provided with red bodies and black plungers are provided with all other body colors.
The original long test hook, our XL1 model simply offers an extended body version of our X100W. The body is 5″ (127 mm) long to reach through wiring nest up to 4″ (101.6 mm) deep. The blade and hook design is virtually the same as our basic X100W model, and like all of our test hooks it is available in various styles (non-magnetic, rectangular foot, etc).
The XL1 test hooks can be purchased individually or as a set of 10 assorted colors.
A Government and Defence client needed an effective solution that had to fulfil specific space and material requirements. The client was looking for a minimally invasive micro piercing connector that makes a mid-line connection. Upon connection, the device needed to remain engaged until removed.
Leveraging our automotive macro piercing technology we designed and manufactured two micro piercing connectors with thumb screw action for secure connection.
Less than one inch long, the micro-sized XEP and XEPA piercing connectors are ideal in environments where size and reliability of connection are essential. Features include the V shaped tip design for separating wire bundles and a .030″ pin plug that connects to any standard .030″ diameter socket. XEP features a straight contact angle and XEPA features a slanted contact angle. (XEP & XEPA shown).
The XK double gripper is designed for hard to make test connections of varying sizes and shapes. The narrow configuration allows stacking of the test connectors side by side for high density IC packages. The two gold-plated blades are retracted by a single stainless steel compression spring
All XKs purchased with factory installed leads (ex. AXK, 213XK) are made with stainless steel blades.
The P25 is designed specifically for narrow test contact areas. An ultra-thin blade and housing allows connector stacking and easier access. The .025″ square pin allows for multiple .025″ square socket lead options to be easily attached.
The P25 test hooks can be purchased individually, as a set of 10 assorted colors or as sets with our kilo-color combinations for easy identification when multiple hook-ups are required.
An anti-rotational hook is just one of the features of this advanced new part. This new micro-hook features a narrow design that allows for multiple side by side hook-ups to delicate wire or components. A stronger, thicker and wider blade material is made to withstand high usage and provide positive, solid connections with each hook-up. The hook design ensures wire integrity and a hook bend of 180Â° provides a secure grasp of lead wire on both sides. A small wire exit hole on the plunger minimizes exposure of blade contact points and a stronger spring allows for a surer grip and longer lasting connection. The XMR hook is also available with factory installed leads.

The X2015 is the smallest of our micro double hook’s, this part is designed for use with surface mount devices or where connection point is very small. The insulated shaft allows for simultaneous side by side connections and connection in tight spaces. To ensure accurate readings this part is designed with no sliding contact points.
The XM25 Micro-Hook is designed for use where weight and leverage may damage components. Its lightweight body (less than 1 gram) and hypo-action hook easily allows for direct hook up to delicate wires and components.
Identical to standard XM model except a one-piece gold plated beryllium copper blade forms hook, conductor and 0.025″ (0.635 mm) square pin. Pin is accessible through lead exit slot in plunger and permits connection to 0.025″ square or 0.030″ round sockets.
Insulation to a single contact point assures accurate readings and the barrier on the tip prevents shorting between components.
